MEGA

The sculpture “Megafauna” is the continued exploration of solid bodies. Forms that imply movement and have a personal volume of their own.

Each idea in this series is the distillation of the previous sculpture falling along the same explorative line. The reality of the body is in direct reference to our own bodies and any other living thing we can be aware of.

Light shadow and form are the minimum aspects we need to confirm this. However, Touch and presence are secondary experiences that we seek through our natural inquisitiveness that makes the other form into reality and not just an illusion.
